The Secret of a Thriving Christian
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.[6]In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship, one of the vital keys to a sustained relationship is TRUST, that's the bedrock of a Thriving relationship. A Christian who doesn't trust God is not a Christian
at all, how can you love someone you do not trust? It's not possible.
Scripture says to trust in the Lord with All your heart and lean not on your understanding, David understood this truth, that's why he never lost a battle. David never moved out without asking God and total reliance on Him for victory. If you ever get to a point in your life when you feel like ignoring God in your affairs, friend, there's death ahead. To not trust God is to not be insured by Him.
In all your ways acknowledge him, to acknowledge means to appraise, to magnify him, to commend His abilities. Tye Tribbet did a song, said "if He did it Before, He can do it again, same God right now, same God back then" that's acknowledgement. It means saying Lord, you are the same God that brought me out of my previous mess, I trust you to do the same for me again. That is the key to divine direction in Life. Acknowledging Him
You put His abilities at stake, He has no choice than to come on board and make that issue a testimony.
