Thrive for an Encounter
Genesis 32:24-28

Christianity begins with an encounter. Every major leap or advancement of a destiny is sponsored by an encounter.
Jesus was, and still is the Savior of the world, but until Mary had an encounter, Jesus wasn't forth coming. Paul, the chiefest of the Apostles was Paul, a man of encounters. Encounter makes destiny counts.

Christianity is a lifestyle, a relationship, not a religion, a relationship with divinity, it's God reaching out to man, only encounters with the Christ can enable us live the Christ life.

Jacob wouldn't let the angel go, not even after suffering dislocation of the hip, he held on to the angel and from there, a man became a nation (Isa. 9:8). Never trivialize the place of definite encounters with Christ as long as Destiny is concerned.

We all should enjoy various encounters in our journey, encounters with the Word, with the Holy Ghost, encounters with Christ himself, visionary encounters, these should be a norm with every genuine child of God.
But these things don't just come, you prepare for them, you position yourself, you sanctify yourself, enlarge your capacities for them. The man Jacob positioned himself too (Gen. 28:12).

God won't just come, He is compelled to come, they were gathered and earnestly waiting in the upper room, THEN the Holy Ghost came. Paul and Silas, Prayed, Sang, THEN there was an earthquake.

Prepare yourself daily to see God.

Remain Ever Blessed.
